Gowns

• Bachelor gowns are worn by bachelor degree, diploma, and certificate recipients. They are black Cambridge bachelor style, and have an open sleeve.
• They are a generous fit and should suit most people. We do have gowns that are wider across the shoulders  if required.
• Gowns are sized according to your full height and should be worn at mid-calf length.
• The size you select is a guide only as every customer is given an opportunity for a personal fitting when collecting regalia.

• Master gowns are worn by master degree recipients and when put with a PhD red stole facing are worn by PhD recipients.
• They are black, Cambridge master style, and have a closed or pocket sleeve.
• They are a generous fit and should suit most people.  We do have gowns that are wider across the shoulders if required.

• Doctoral gowns are worn by recipients of Massey University Doctor Business Administration, Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Doctor of Education degrees. They are identical to master gowns except that they have scarlet facings down the front.
• Higher doctorate recipients wear all-scarlet gowns not these Doctoral robes  
• They have a closed or pocket sleeve.
• They are a generous fit and should suit most people.

Higher Doctoral Gowns - Scarlet

• Scarlet gowns are worn by recipients of Higher Doctorial Degrees e.g. Doctor of Science, Doctor of Literature, Doctor of Commerce, Doctor of Fine Arts and Doctor of Music. They are identical to master gowns except that they are all red in colour. They have a closed or pocket sleeve.
• They are a generous fit and should suit most people.
