Doctoral Bonnet (or Tudor Bonnet)
 
  • Bonnets are worn by all doctors.
  • They are soft-topped and made of black velvet.
  • They have a circular brim and are trimmed with black cords and tassels.
  • The Bonnet should sit comfortably with the circular brim sitting horizontally straight across.
  • The black tassel is worn to the left.
 
  • Please measure your head circumference just above your eyebrows and straight round the back.
  • Use a piece of string and a ruler if you do not have a measuring tape.
